Blue was Red

My sound work comprised of “domestic field recordings” provided an audio backdrop for Rebecca May Johnson’s reading of her text The recipe for blue was red, presented at interdisciplinary performance events at Cafe Oto, London and the Palazzo delle Esposizioni Museum (Rome).

This 13-minute stereo piece, echoing the themes of Johnson’s text, incorporated extensive recordings of tomatoes cooking on the stove.
